History Of Proprietrix
The Proprietrix of Lakshmi Travels, Meera Sivasankaran was born and brought up in a small village Arattupula, TrichurDist., Kerala. She was born in a traditional family and unable to continue her studies after her 12th Standard. She got married at the age of 22 and come to Chennai along with her husband. Her husband was working in a private limited company and she was remaining as house wife for 10 years.
Lakshmi Travels is a proprietary concern started in 1994 with two cars. Today it has more than 250 own vehicles and Above 500 attached vehicles operational in more than 45 client sites as Corporate / Govt. / PSU sectors. It has more than 20 Crs. turnover in the nowadays. Lakshmi travels is performing 10% - 50% business growth in every year.
Meera Sivasankaran was basically a house wife after her marriage. She was thought of to do something for her development, in which she didn't want to sit ideal as house wife. She had conveyed the same to her beloved husband. He was very much interested with her wife's thoughts and development. At that time few vehicles were required on monthly basis to a company where Meera's husband was working. He conveyed the same to his wife Meera and asked her consent to start a travels. The intention was good and Meera madam wanted to start her carrier as a proprietor to Lakshmi Travels. Initially, she struggled a lot to meet financial implications, driver's management, vehicle arrangements and interaction with contractors. She had taken all the barriers as a challenge and proceeded to clinch in to the business. She faced lot of legal proceedings due to the vehicle operations and drivers slipups. She boldly countenanced all the tribulations and matured them clearly.
Her intension to be an entrepreneur is succeeding as a triumphant and the potency of the Lakshmi Travels is escalating every day. Today she is philanthropic life to more than 500 families by offering opportunity to work at her concern. She is so merciful towards all her employees and their family. She used to participate in all the functions of the employees with attractive perks and gifts. She is donating foods and fabrics to the poor through temples and involved in social services also. She is quite happy today by doing all her roles as an entrepreneur, wife, mother and a social tuner.
